Switching focus from bugs, integrations and technical issues to conversion and brand building
Building on tradition - Scandinavian brand Berg & Berg are creating the future of menswear. Their former non-responsive Magento store did not reflect this brand promise. The old site had several issues with integrations, caching, indexing, patching and bugs which acted as a constant roadblock for Berg & Berg to focus on what they really love - building their brand.
Our mission was to shift focus and build their next responsive flagship store online conveying their true brand promise, educate and inspire people about the beautiful products they carry and act as a door opener to global sales and brand awareness.
Migrating the e-commerce solution to the turn-key solution platform Shopify means that the client got bullet-proofed integrations, allowing them to integrate further with a new ERP, PSP:s, marketing solutions and enable new sales channels such as Instagram and Facebook shopping.
On top of the new e-commerce platform, we built a customized Shopify theme and an adaptive design solution that enables Berg & Berg to create strong curated content with ease. We also made it easier to find the right products, sizes and a better overall user experience.
Equipped with a superior frontend and backend interface, Berg & Berg can now better build curated content and merchandise their assortment. They no longer have to fall back on communicating using an external blog. With the new interactive and living editorial archive and enriched categories and product pages, Berg & Berg has taken the next step towards.
